Strapdown Inertial Navigation Systems Model: SINS500

    Our strapdown INS are based on Optolink's FOGs, precise accelerometers and board computer. These SINS are combined with GPS 3291.
    Optolink's fiber-optic strapdown inertial navigation systems have complete solid-state design with no rotating or othermoving parts. Because it has no moving parts, there is nothing to go out of alignment and therefore it never requires recalibrating and is totally maintenance free. They have very high reliability (MTBF) and no maintenance requirements during its service life. Analogue and digital display units and other peripheral equipment are supplied with output data through serial interfaces. Designed for use onboard vessels and subsea vehicles, Optolink¡¯s strapdown inertial navigation systems are compact, robust and maintenance-free, low-consumption units.

Inertial and GPS Navigation System Model: RT3000
    The RT3000 family products are advanced, precision Inertial and GPS Navigation systems for measuring motion, position and orientation.
    They use Inertial Navigation System (INS) technology and combine this with the highest quality Survey Grade GPS receivers. The best attributes of Inertial Navigation Systems and GPS are blended together to give an optimum solution.
    The systems improve the performance over GPS-only ones by providing accurate velocity in urban or tree-covered environments. The drift common to conventional Vertical Reference Units (VRU) or Stabilized Platforms is corrected automatically so that the RT3000 family products can be used indefinitely without drifting or needing to be reset.
