iMAR's vertical reference unit iNAV-FMS-VRU is
a derivation of iMAR's well-known inertial measurement
system iNAV-FMS for inertial control,
stabilization, guidance, tracking and dynamic
analysis, which is equipped with high precision
multiplexed closed-loop
fiber optical gyros and
servo-accelerometers
and covers applications
which require high accuracy,
reliability and an
open interface.
The system provides
interfaces for speed
measurement (counter
input or EM-Log/DVL via
RS232/422) and GPS
(embedded or external).
Possible data outputs
are RS232, CAN,
Ethernet or/and analog output (synchro on request).
Special adaptation of housing and mechanical
dimensions is possible. Data processing
(strap-down algorithms, attitude and heading
calculation, dead-reckoning navigation, aiding
with external heading information and heading
bandwidth improvement) inside of the measuring
system is as well possible as data transmission
of pure or corrected raw data. |

With iVRU-FC-C167 a vertical reference unit is provided
for applications which require
high accuracy and simple using.
iVRU-FC is a triaxial system with three
orthogonal mounted rugged fiber optic
gyroscopes, three ultra ruggedised
MEMS accelerometers and an integrated
powerful micro-processor with
16 bit sensor data digitalisation to provide digital
data transmission (CAN,
RS232) and extended internal
error modelling. As an
option also analog output
data can be provided. As a
further option an internal
GPS / magnetometer can be
provided as well as a speed
sensor interface to achieve
higher performance also in
difficult environment. Interfaces
for platform stabilisation
are available on request.
Qualification according to
MIL-STD-810F and MILSTD-
461E possible on request

iNAV-FMS is an IMS product family for inertial
navigation and guidance, stabilisation, heading
determination and dynamically motion analysis
with fiber optical gyros that covers applications,
which require high accuracy, reliability and an
open interface to the user.
The derivation iNAV-FMS-LSURV for advanced
land vehicle based applications consists of three
high accurate fiber optical gyroscopes with low
random walk of 0.18 deg/ h and angular resolution
of 0.0003 deg, three servo accelerometers,
a powerful strapdown processor and an open
and flexible interface, which can be customized.
As an option the modular designed system provides
interfaces to (D)GPS/GLONASS, external
trigger input/output and external I/Os for e.g. laser
ranger, camera platform control, stabilisation
and synchronisation. Possible outputs are
Ethernet (TCP/IP or UDP), RS232/422 or internal
data storage on the integrated 4 GByte silicondisk. |

random walk of 0.10 deg/ h and angular resolution
of 0.0003 deg, three servo accelerometers,
a powerful strapdown processor and an open
and flexible interface, which can be customized.
As an option the modular designed system provides
interfaces to (D)GPS/GLONASS, external
trigger input/output and external I/Os for e.g. laser
altimeter, SAR or camera platform control,
stabilisation and synchronisation. Possible outputs
are Ethernet (TCP/IP or UDP), RS232/422
or analog as well as internal data storage on silicondisk. Furthermore application specific interfaces
can be realized on request (e.g. ARINC
429). |
